Universal Transitional Kindergarten/Collaborative Classroom 

This is an Early Childhood Education program where children benefit from an enriched foundational early childhood education program to prepare them for success in traditional Kindergarten.  

 The UTK/CC program is for children whose 5th birthday falls between June 3, 2025 and September 1, 2025. This is a full day class (6 hours a day, 5 days week) with a ratio of 20 students to 4 adults. The children will learn language, literacy, and math skills to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond, as well as focusing on socialization during playtime. 

The UTK/CC is in place at LAUSD neighborhood schools and is available only at a select few schools which includes Wilshire Crest Elementary.
